First register with NTN and schedule written exam, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select ‘Find Jobs,’ then choose Firefighter Jobs and sign up for Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District. Read all instructions and guidance to ensure you do not miss any requirements.

Before applying be sure to locate and scan all required certifications and documentation to upload to application.
Applications will be accepted for a minimum of 21 days from date posted. Completing the application is the next step to begin your career in fire!
Your application will be reviewed to ensure minimum qualifications are met, including all required certifications and documents are attached.
Once review is completed you will be notified of your application status.
If you have met all of the required qualifications your application will be accepted and moved to the next step in the recruitment process.
The top scoring candidates through the recruitment process will be ranked by score and placed on an eligibility list for interview.

Congratulations! You have been offered the job! If you accept the offer you will have a formal job offer sent to you for review and signature.
